My Favorite Press on Nails

I have been talking for weeks (maybe even months) about my hunt for the best press on nails. As a mom and business owner (but even as just a mom), finding time to give up my hands to a nail technician is tough. That being said, having my nails done is one of the few things that makes me feel put together so my journey into press on nails began…

Here are some notes on how I am judging my press on nails:

Let me start by saying I am TOUGH on my nails. I have sippy cups to wash and blackheads to pop. If you are easy on your nails, you will have NO issues with any brand (most likely).

The shape of the nails has also been a big factor for me. I am very into a round/oval shape these days but I am not trying to look like Dracula.

My biggest tip: carry glue with you at all times! All these nails are so easy to simply pop back on (you def can’t do that with a ruined nail salon manicure).

Lastly, I need easy. I don’t want to file the nails for an hour after I glue them on. How do people even shape them as they want?!

Now that you know that, here is my favorite press on nails (in order of which I like best first) that I have tried thus far!

#1: Impress Press on Nails

Press on Nails - Impress Nails

Impress Nails can be found practically anywhere but I love these (pictured) from Target and these from Bed Bath and Beyond. They are self-adhesive but I always add glue because, as I said, I am tough on my nails. My mom and mother-in-law can wear them for a week+ with no glue!

Price: I have seen them as low as $3.99 at TJMaxx and as high as $14.99 online.

Notes: They are my favorite because the rounded shape isn’t too long! Sadly, I have only seen the 2 color options linked above in this oval shape. These were also the most suggested by other followers/friends.

#2 Chill House Press on Nails

I found these Chill House nails on an Instagram ad and love them! They were a bit longer than I’d like but the pattern is what won me over. The glue they come with is pretty good too!

Price: $16…def pricy but worth it for the fun!

#3 Static Press on Nails

Press on Nails - Static Nails

I kept getting Instagram ads for these Static Nails so I decided to finally give them a try. They were longer than I like but the tortoise french was so, so cool. Sadly the pointer finger split down the middle after just 4/5days. I reached out to the company and while they sent me a $5 gift card and some advice to use a replacement nail, I wasn’t quite satisfied because of the overall price of the nails and the fact that they only have 12 nails per hand.

Price: $16+ plus $5.95 shipping for orders under $55

Notes: I did like the glue and although they say reusable, I think 2 times might be their max. I am ordering more because of the selection though.

#4 Red Aspen Press on Nails

Press on Nails - Red Aspen

Red Aspen is all over Instagram these days. They have some FUN colors and patterns but their round/almond shape was way too much for me (again, no time for filing). If I wanted a square they are a great option.

Price: $13+ plus shipping

Notes: These were the ones I wore on vacation and with generous nail glue, stayed on very well!

#5 Dashing Diva Gloss Press on Polish

Press on Nails - Dashing Diva Gloss

I am aware that these might need to be in a different category but they are still an at-home, press-on option. I got mine at Target and they actually did “wow” even my toughest of nail critics. They are more time-consuming though because you have to file them. Up close they were far from flawless but nonetheless, a great option for a fun at-home mani.

Price: $6.99

Notes: Lasted the longest of all others I have tried without re-application.

THE END…for now.

I am hoping to add to this list as I continue to try more but please comment your favorite below so I can give them a try!
