Instagram Ads That Got Me and If They Were Worth It

Ok…I probs need to block my husband from this post because my swipe-ups have been getting me lately. BUT I figured I would sacrifice myself to let you know if these Instagram ads that got me were worth it for YOU too.

Also, I am sure all of these companies will hunt you harder after clicking these links and for that, I am sorry 😂

After buying all of these things (and listing them, LORD), I am reminded that things are things and do not make a huge impact on your life and happiness.

Now here we go…

The Nap Dress – Ok I see so many bloggers loving their Nap Dresses so I camped out for their last drop to get an Ellie Nap Dress in black (no longer available). It is amazing BUT see-through. Que HUGE disappointment. In all fairness it did say “sheer black” but for that price, I was very surprised when I went in the sunlight and saw my butt. I am keeping it because I LOVE the smoked bodice but also because I have a great/inexpensive seamstress who can sew in a lining.

Marine Layer Allison Pant – These people targeted me so hard I felt like these pants must be the holy grail of pants. Unfortunately, they were not. I tried the petite and regular in medium and while I liked the regular better (I am 5’3″) they did not change my life.

Luvlili_offical Swimsuit – Ok I KNEW this was a fake because I googled “black flower-print one piece” and found another one that looked the same made by L*Space (no longer available to link, womp womp). I purchased it anyway because for the price I thought it was worth the risk. It fits very strangely and I have since donated it. Also, I don’t think it matters your body type. It is a cheap remake. Do not buy it.

Nuuly – I talk about my Nuuly subscription all the time on Instagram. I am approcahing my 1 year anniversary with this clothing rental service and I love it. They did let me down in the month of June but other than that I have loved every minute. It allows me to rent pieces that I might not try/be able to afford otherwise. Plus I am not a huge outfit repeater for events so this has been great. And it has helped me stop buying fast fashion in the colder months (I can’t resist a summer dress at Target).

Caraway Pans – These were actually a Christmas gift (as well as the pan below). They are pricy but I think the benefits are worth it. We were very overdue for new pots and pans and I liked that these were clean (Non-Toxic/Free of Teflon). We have no other pans in our house now (other than a huge crab pot and, again, the pan below). The only sad part is that you can’t use pam on them but you get used to it.

Our Place Always Pan – This has been a great addition to our home. Same benefits/downfalls as the pan above. I use this pan and the frying pan from the set above the most. I don’t like either better, just alternate based on which is clean at the time :).

Self Care Instagram Ads That Got Me:

Bush Balm – I am always down to try to make my bikini line a little easier to manage so I swiped up on this ad. I got the starter kit and maybe I am using them wrong but I have nothing miraculous to report.

Heatless Curler – My hair isn’t long enough yet…I want extensions lol. Regardless, I will report back.

Sio Beauty – This bad boy seemed like a great option to help me with my forehead wrinkles but it just ended in me tearing it off in the middle of the night and a gnarly headache. I should have tried it on a day where I had nowhere to go but I know my kid would have ripped it off my face soooo this is a “no” for me.

Il Makiage – Oh man. These people have an impressive quiz to help you figure out your shade and honestly, it worked so well! I do wish it was a little thicker in coverage but nonetheless, I will buy it again when it runs out!

And… That’s all for now! I’d love to know, what ads have you swiped up on that you loved the product! Tell me below!
