Make it Monday: Hummus

I don’t think I have ever met someone who doesn’t love hummus. It is the perfect dip and has so many health benefits! It’s got protein, vitamins, and heathy fats! I made my own this weekend and had to share it! 
I used 1 can of chick peas, 3 tablespoons of tahini sauce, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, the juice and a bit of zest from 1 lemon, half a teaspoon of pepper and a whole teaspoon of salt. Added it all my my ninja and blended till smooth! It was seriously so easy! Well, with the exception of finding the tahini sauce…that took a few grocery trips but I eventually found it at Trader Joe’s.

The verdict? Better the Sambra. Boom.
