2015 has been my most exciting year yet and as I look back I am so grateful. I got to marry my best friend and start the life I have dreamt of. Of course we are still figuring things out, like where the heck are we going to live in a few months and how on earth do you budget your life when eating out is so much easier? But we’ll get there 😉

As I look back on my blog I am so thankful that I started it way back in 2014 (woah, beware clicking that link). It has helped me start my newest business venture of blogging for other companies like VA Bride Magazine and the Foxy Flamingo Boutique and it has opened so many doors to new possibilities in the future. 

I get asked all the time, “Why do you blog?” I think some of my relatives think I am trying to be a model. HA. Omg, no ma’am! I have Tilley’s Threads because it is a creative outlet for me. I like to share different outfit combos and how I decorate in hopes that maybe my readers will be inspired. My favorite outfit inspiration story took place when my mom wore an outfit similar to this one to my father in law’s 60th birthday party. Score! Helping her was a small win that I hope happens with y’all. 

A lot of people ask me about who takes my pictures…I have only had Ryan help a few times as he is extremely weary of becoming an instagram husband. As of now, I work with a sweet girl who is studying photography at a nearby college. I meet her for an hour a month and we have a photoshoot. Unless I post a selfie, you can bet the pic you see of my outfit on here or my instagram was not taken that day. The photoshoots allow me to create looks for a whole month at once and makes planning a lot less stressful. 

SO in the spirit of being transparent, I am sharing some of my blooper pics from 2015 because these faces are about as real life as it gets for me haha. I hope you enjoy…
