Happy New Year!

Oh boy, do I have a fun one for y’all today! Champagne jello shots anyone? 
I made these adorable and tasty treats this morning and I thought I’d share how in case you are looking for something fun and creative to bring to a party tomorrow night. 
I began by browsing pinterest to see what ingredients I needed…
2 cups champagne (I used Andre because I wouldn’t want to put jello in a nice champagne haha), Knox flavorless gelatine, pop rocks and…Mountain Dew.
The Mountain Dew was a last minute decision but it worked out. 
SO, you pour 2 cups of the champagne into a pot with a small pour of Dew. Then empty all jello into the pot and let sit for two minutes. This was not how I learned to make jello so I was nervous BUT it did work! Then stir lightly and put on low burner just to warm it up, do not boil. 
Once it is warm, add the remaining Mountain Dew and pour into your containers (found mine at Party City). Refrigerate for 2 hours and wa-lah!
Add pop rocks to the top and you are good to go! 
Now lets pray I can transport these guys across state lines without them messing up… We are headed to the Outer Banks to celebrate with friends and family (after we go to a wedding in the morning). Should be fun!
