It’s no secret that I have been a LONG TIME lover of the clothing rental service, Nuuly. I mean…I have been a customer since 2020 (blog on Nuuly pros here)! But for my sparkle-themed baby shower, I decided to give the newly popular, Fashion Pass, a try and share my opinions!
Differences I found with Fashion Pass VS Nuuly
- Fashion Pass had fewer options than Nuuly. At first, I thought it was maybe just my stage of life since their “bump-friendly” section is limited but I think overall they have a smaller inventory than Nuuly.
- Fashion Pass doesn’t seem as environmentally friendly. They ship everything in a disposable plastic bag and everything inside of that bag is also in a disposable plastic bag. THEN there is another disposable plastic bag to ship the items back inside…ekk. Honestly, I know it isn’t fast fashion but I was definitely getting those vibes. I prefer Nuuly’s cloth reusable bags.
- Nuuly did go up in price recently from $88 a month for 6 clothing items to $98 a month BUT it is still a better deal than Fashion Pass which is $89 a month for 2 clothing items and 1 accessory. Their closest plan to Nuuly in the number of items is 5 clothing items and 1 accessory for $149 a month!

Here is the Show Me Your Mumu dress that rented for my baby sprinkle that started my Fashion Pass investigation. I also rented 3 other dresses. 2 of which I wore and 1 that I did not.
