Parker is coming up on 9 months soon and I can hardly BELIEVE it!

If I’ve learned anything so far it’s that saying you live and you learn couldn’t be more true when it comes to baby stuff! I look back on my registry now and am blown away by some of the stuff I had on there that hasn’t saved me as much time or effort as other things I purchased myself as Parker got bigger!

Of course, the obvious essentials have been great like the grass and anything FridaBaby. My newborn must have’s are all still in high circulation in our home too (besides the nail file).

This blog post is more geared to the things Sweet P has loved from 5 months to 8 months…her 5 to 8 month old baby favorites!

If you have a little one coming up to this age OR if you are looking for a baby shower gift that will help a momma beyond those first months, here are some ideas!

1. Lov Every Play Kit Subscription – Honestly, this has SAVED me during the COVID19 quarantine life so I had to put it first on my list. We got our first kit at 7 months and I wish we had gotten it sooner! Everything that came in it, P keeps coming back to play with day after day! And while I am not against lights and music, it is nice that these toys don’t have them. They also come with a booklet of ideas on how to play with each toy in different ways to stimulate brain development! Their podcast is great too!
2. Puppy, Fishbowl, and Rattles – All 3 of these toys have been great too! We take the rattles in the car and she loves them! The puppy gives me a few mins of peace as she listens to her sing and the fishbowl is great because she loves taking the little fish in and out to chew on them!
3. Spoon Baby Walker – She is JUST starting to get the hang of trying to walk and this walker that we borrowed from a friend has been so helpful! It’s also a good spot for her to hang out while I cook dinner!
4. Crib Liner – This thing was a GAME CHANGER for sleeping at night! You see, P loves her pacis and they kept falling out of her crib at night. Enter this liner and hello more sleep!
5. Rompers and Socks – Rompers from Tea Collection (P is wearing this one in the pics) and socks from Jeffery’s are P’s uniform. Why? Because they are easy. Your girl couldn’t handle two-piece outfits with slide on pants till she started standing. The socks? They have a special elastic in them and do not come off! If you have a baby, you KNOW how miraculous that is! (I purchased ours at a boutique and ordered the ones I linked to confirm they are the same ones we have…I will report back!)
6. Favorite Books – “Pat the Bunny” is a classic and SO FUN because she can actually do what they book says to do…sometimes we read it five times in a row she loves it so much! She has also been enjoying chewing on these indestructible books!
