Creative Union Dinner and Networking

Creative Union Dinner at Leesa

Now that I’ve got my girl, Kelsey, on board full time helping me with my social media business, I have room to grow and gain new clients! So, how does one gain new clients? Well up to this point my business has been all referral based (🙌) and while that continues to happen for me, I am also looking to do more networking!

Of course, I have been to Creative Union dinners in the past (most recent here) but this one took on a whole new light in my mind as I met and mingled with other entrepreneurs!

In attendance, there was a woman who owned an Airbnb houseboat, a donut maker, a photographer, a pegboard maker, a bookkeeper and so many more! Not to mention the gentleman who makes ice cream!

And let me tell you, Lolly’s was delicious!

When I introduce myself, I always try to keep it simple and energetic while explaining (in as much detail) what I do.

I also put in a shameless plug for my next Instagram Class!

After we ate, we all went down to the host of the evening, Leesa’s, showroom!

They told us we could jump on them so obvi, I took advantage of that…

…while Instagram storying the entire event in true Social Media manager fashion 😂!

Now I just wish alllll networking events were as Instagrammable as this one was!

Here’s looking forward to the next Creative Union Dinner by the talented Mary and Zoe!

Now I am on the prowl for my next networking event! Any suggestions?

I also will be going back to my radio roots and doing some cold calling this week! Wish me luck!
