Creative Union Dinner and Life Update

creative union

A few weeks ago I got to attend another Creative Union Dinner and boy, was it refreshing!

(Past dinners here and here)

I have been planning/hoping to hop back into this blog space since I got back from Costa Rica (I swear a trip recap will come lol) but y’all…I have been drained.

You see, almost 3 years ago I started helping businesses with their social media and things have blossomed ever since. I currently work with over 15 business and finally made things official with a new website!

While creating content for that many businesses, I was unable to come up with much for myself. While I don’t consider this a bad thing because I love creating for my clients, the Creative Union Dinner helped breathe a little life back into me for my own platforms so here I am 🙂

I met and mingled with so many new people! Then, of course, relished the time I had with Creative Union Dinner veterans like my dear Tessa and CU’s founders Zoe and Mary.

Being around these women reminded me that we are all hustling but it is important to take time for what gives us our inspiration! So…I would love to know dear reader, what inspires you? Let me know in the comments 😉

Now let’s dive into a little life update…

(my headshots from the dinner…don’t you love my attempt at being stoic in the bottom right😂)

Fashion:

This blog was birthed by my love of fashion but y’all…I have no room for it in my head! I love putting together looks and sharing them but right now I feel like I need someone to style ME! Most days you’ll find me in my pilates gear that I repeat week after week or my pjs. If I am fully dressed, $10 says I don’t have my hair/makeup done but you know what? That is fine by me. I am building something big (TST) and darn proud of it.

Life:

I am constantly looking at my husband, our puppy, our home, and our families and feeling so blessed and happy. Life is good team. Some days are tough but I turned 27 in February and can attest that life flys by and we’ve got to cherish every day. The hubs and I aren’t planning on making any big changes anytime soon. We are so content and admittedly love the spare time we do have with each other. My running joke with my friends that are getting pregnant left and right is that we are waiting for the new Ikea to come to town before we can even think about a baby 😂. I really do love Ikea.

Work:

I know I have been talking about my work throughout this post but I really do love what I do too! God has blessed me like crazy in my business and I know His faithfulness will continue! Next month I am taking on help full time (love ya, Kelsey) and shortly following her, I’ll have a new intern coming on board and I am pumped! Pumped to get help with the day to day so we can all dream big for my clients and their businesses! And to GROW!

I am so excited for what the future holds.

I will tell you that I am hoping to do a little shopping this weekend so maybeeee the future does hold a fashion post sooner than anticipated 😉

This blog, along with life, has no rules. Let’s do this!

Love it! So jealous you’ve been able to land a coveted spot at the CU dinners! I’ve landed one so far but fell under the weather the day before the dinner. Oh well, always next time. Love your style and following you!
