Decor Daydream: My Office

Well look at this drab room that is soon to be my office/dressing room. Don’t worry, it has already come a long way! You wouldn’t believe how much of a difference hard wood floors make!
This is the only room in the house that I am allowed to make super girly so you better believe I am going allllll out! Here is what I am thinking so far…
Target has truly been my go-to shopping destination for decor lately and I am so excited to now be affiliated with them! What does that mean you ask? It means I get #cashmoney if you buy anything that I am linking to in this post. Thank you for supporting Tilley’s Threads 😉 Oh and make sure you get a Red Card for free shipping (I have a Red debit card so I can’t get into trouble, lol).
SO! This amazing hot pink rug is already in my possession and frames the room perfectly! Obsessed is an understatement. Plus, it comes in so many beautiful colors…I really want them all. I also already have this desk and love it. It is the perfect size and is going to look so chic under that large window!
Now since it will also be a dressing room, I plan on adding two clothes racks like these to the wall on the left (because the closet is way smaller than I am used to) as well as a shelf like this in between them to hold shoes and purses. I also have a storage bench like this one that will hold my craft stuff (#necessary) and this fun pillow will look adorable on top of it. Above the bench will be some sort of fun art like this sassy print or these framed flowers. Other fun accessories? Obvi pineapples and peonies, what kind of blogger do you take me for?
I do need some help though…I have run into an issue for shoe storage. Of course a few pretty pairs will be displayed on my shelf but I need a solution for the everyday kinds of shoes…anyone have any suggestions? SOS. Oh and have you seen any pretty curtains lately…I am being a lil picky…

LOVE that pineapple lamp! Our house has 3 bedrooms and we use them both at guest bedrooms but I may talk the husband into letting me make one into an office and letting me decorate it!
