It’s only taken me MONTHS to finally post this but y’all the sleep deprivation and lack of free time are REAL. But that is a post for a different day lol.
From the moment I saw this wallpaper, my heart was set on the pastel color scheme that is now Parker’s nursery.
I honestly looked everywhere for another option but couldn’t get my mind off of this pattern and the idea of a surf-ari (surfing/safari) theme!
After waiting it out and grabbing the paper on sale, I hired a woman to install it because I did NOT want to risk messing it up. I am so glad I did too because evidently it was not an easy job.
Eventually, it did peel off the wall a few times. I say this so casually but I was actually 30 weeks pregnant and in tears when it took place so I ended up grabbing my staple gun and making SURE it wouldn’t peel again. 😂It is still up to this day and I couldn’t love it more!
This mobile was crucial in my mind to complete the surf-ari nursery theme. My husband loves surfing and so I thought it was a cool bit of his personality to work into the room.
One of our friends also made us this surfboard growth charts so we can track her height over the years. How cute, right?!
The room is small though so I made the most of the space with these bookshelves.
Ryan also has an extensive beanie baby collection so when I told him the Surf-Ari Nursery theme, he picked out these sweet friends to sit atop her shelf!
She is actually obsessed with the beanie babies now too…its almost as if she knew how important they were to him when she got here.
This rocking chair has been clutch too!
Oh sweet P, I can’t wait to watch you grow and discover this room. ❤️
