Running your own business means every minute of each day counts. Whether I am working from home, visiting family, or out on appointments, the Luna and the tips below have allowed me to maximize my time as a new mom.

Tips for Pumping and Working:

Tip #1: Drink water NON-STOP! I know that seems like a given but a breastfeeding mom should drink approximately 12 8-ounce glasses of water daily! I make sure I never leave the house without a water bottle and that there is always a full glass next to me.

I’ve even got my husband trained to make sure I have a glass next to my nursing chair for night time feeds 😉.

Tip #2: Choose an inconspicuous pump! I know I have partnered with Areoflow and Motif on this blog but the Luna really has been the perfect fit for my lifestyle. It is lightweight, perfect for running off to appointments with clients. It is quite, great for hiding in offices/dressing rooms/wherever I can find to pump. And as I already mentioned, it does the job quickly and efficiently! Bonus, it has a car charger!

Tip #3: Don’t forget a cooler and an ice pack! Being on the go means I might not get home till late. After pumping I pour the liquid gold into a bag and store it in my cooler.
