It has been a while since my last decorating post because quite honestly, not much has changed. We still need rugs and pictures and light fixtures (and don’t even get me started on the German Schmear I want to do). Plus, with our recent glamping trip, saving up again is our priority.
Tomorrow is the first official day of fall though so I added a few fun (and inexpensive) neutral fall decor items to our living room just to get us into the spirit! So grab your pumpkin spice latte and dive on in…
This adorable pillow from Mudpie caught my eye first. It is tiny though so I added this throw to fill the chair and make it feel extra cozy.
The second…pumpkins!
Pumpkins are synonymous with fall and these burlap ones are adorable. Standing alone they were cute but I wanted them to be more captivating because they are one of the first things you see upon entering our home on our dinning room table. By using a galvanized tub that I picked up at the dollar section at Target and lots greenery that was actually leftover from our wedding decor, I created a unique and fun centerpiece. Savin’ those dolla dolla bills.
Lastly I added these little pumpkin dishes (also from Mudpie) and filled them with fall M&Ms. As you can see, they have been quite popular 😉
Choosing neutral fall decor is great because it is not Halloween specific or Thanksgiving specific. These white and burlap options can stay out from now until it is time to break out the Christmas decor! Now I just need to find where I packed my candles in the move because if I buy one more candle the hubs and I may need marriage counseling. Lol.

I really like this idea because it’s different than other fall decor ideas out there. Being that it’s neutral makes it more versatile. Also, those burlap pumpkins are adorable!
Love how you updated your house for fall!! So cute!

I love seasonal home Deco, but I haven’t gotten around to decorating my room yet. That little corner looks so gorgeous, and that pumpkin Deco is the cutest!
I LOVE the rustic, farmhouse look with the pops of patterns and colors you have going on! So cute, decorating for fall is the best!
I love how you styled everything! I always want to decorate for fall but I don’t want it to be overly colourful since my home is very neutral just like yours. Now I know what to do! Thank you!
