Taking time to stop and smell the coffee has been difficult lately as I find myself inhaling it and rushing out the door. Do you ever have seasons like that? I know it is just a “season”, but the feeling of being overwhelmed is almost blowing up my brain at this point. Rushing is also one of my biggest pet peeves in life. Thanks goodness the warm weather is coming…that definitely gives me hope, in addition to the fact that God will never give me more than I can handle. I can do this. 

The biggest thing on my mind right now is finding a house. We are spending so much in rent and I would much rather be investing in something long term. Something that I can put my own stamp on, ya know? Easier said than done. I know it is just our first home and we don’t have to be in it forever, but I refuse to settle (like the Settlers, love that commercial lol). I know it won’t be perfect, but I want it to have potential, to be in a good neighborhood and have a yard for the puppy we BETTER have soon haha.
