SO. I have wanted to style a maxi skirt for the fall ever since I saw this pin on Pinterest (PS follow me please and I’ll follow you back!). I still want to recreate that outfit but I also wanted to try something new. This scarf started it all…I am obsessed with the color combination! I choose a crop top because loose tops aren’t the easiest to tuck into a maxi. The look is completed with my favorite hat and my peep toe booties (I am trying to wear them as much as possible since my toes can’t handle peeking out on colder days). 

The last few weeks have been a doozy. I have been to tons of job interviews and made some really great connections in the community. Throughout a lot of it though I felt uneasy and nervous. I kept praying to God to help me make the right career decision that allowed me to still be creative and hold down the fort at home. On the way to one of my interviews (in the pouring rain) I thought to myself, “I don’t want to do this…I want to be my own boss.” As soon as I thought that thought, peace came over me sooo…I am starting my own business y’all! I have decided to be an independant social media and content marketer…check out my first client here! SO excited for this next chapter of my life and thanks to all that helped me arrive at this decision. God’s got a plan and I am pumped.
