Last Fling Before the Ring!

 ((My Outfit Details Here))

It all began with brunch, because we know no good story ever starts with, “It all began with salads.” Me and my bridesmaids woke up (at a reasonable hour) this past Saturday morning in Washington, DC, ready to em barque on what would be a day to remember! We stayed at the Hilton, which was great because we were able to walk to most of the places we went! Brunch was at the Mahatter and it was delicious. I ate everything I shouldn’t have and drank all the mimosas (yes, all of them).

Nicole, my MOH, took most of these gorgeous pics but our waiter took the pic above…he is not at talented as she is haha.

“Let’s take a selfie” haha…caught ya!

The nice waiter also surprised me with this GIANT Sunday! It was like he knew me because it only had oreo’s, ice cream, strawberries and sprinkles (I don’t like chocolate fudge or anything like that that would typically go on a Ice Cream Sunday)! Nommmm.
Then we were off again! On the way back to the hotel, we found the cutest boutique called Lou Lou!

…and thank goodness because I didn’t have ANYTHING (that I liked, ha) to wear that night! I found the gorgeous dress below on sale for 50% off and it was the last one they had!
Meant to be? I think so!

Then we headed back to the hotel and hit the pool (two maids are missing because they are lame aka needed a nap). It was good to get some sun and rehydrate for the nights activities haha.

Then it was time to get ready! We got all dolled up and headed out to dinner. My girls know me so well. They picked an amazing Thai restaurant and I ate the biggest helping of pineapple fried rice you could imagine! It was delicious. But all throughout dinner they kept whispering and it was making me SO nervous haha…

Turns out that they were whispering because they were conspiring against me with this crazy to do list below! I picked the blurred photo of it because some things were EMBARRASSING but of course, all in good fun 🙂
It was an amazing weekend. Having 6 of your best friends from different walks of life come together to hang out is WAY beyond cool. I just wanted to cry of happiness and lock them away together so the weekend would never have to end. These are my people:

Sarah and I met through our sorority, Phi Mu. She is my big and I love her to death. She can bring out the fun me no matter what and as someone who can get super uptight, I truly appreciate that 🙂 She is also always has my back, no matter what.

Annie is my little from my sorority and she gives me purpose. Haha I know, silly but she makes me feel like my wisdom (that I have gained thus far in life) is helpful. She also brings the glam to my life. I’m pretty sure she bleeds glitter.

Hannah and Salem come together in a set and I love it because you can’t have a Blue Moon without an orange! I met them after I moved to North Carolina to be near Ryan. I was so alone without friends for so long that I know God sent them to me and I am so thankful He did. They get me.

Claudia and I may have been brought together because she dates my future bother-in-law but that is not why we are friends. I think sometimes I talk to her more than Ryan. She listens to the crazy stuff I say and helps me through it. She also helps me edit this blog so if there is a grammatical mistake, blame her. Ha, love ya Claud.

And that brings me to my Maid of Honor, Nicole. Nicole and I have been friends since like…the 5th grade. We have the craziest stories from growing up and I cherish them so much. She has always been the kind of friend that no matter how long you have been apart or not talked, things are still the way you left them: awesome. We do nothing together whenever we can and I love that about us. She is truly the nicest person I know and the yin to my yang.
I feel so blessed to have all of these wonderful and strong women next to me on my wedding day in just 15 DAYS!!!!! AHHHHHHH!
