Please observe the happiest smile I have ever had! Ok, maybe not the happiest…but it is def in the top ten of “Happiest Smiles.” I can’t even begin to convey how COOL it is to have your best friends that you met in different parts of your life all together to party. Its crazy. Anyhow, I chose this white romper for this past weekend’s festivities because I knew we would be “romping” around DC :)…get it? Ha. Of course, gold accessories were a MUST so when one of my bridesmaids brought this Tory Burch bag for me to borrow, I about DIED. It was like it was made for me #love.
I am still reveling in the joy from the weekend (recap will be up Friday) but it is back to the real world for me today. I know what you are thinking, “Tilley, normal people went to work on Monday…today is Wednesday.” I realize my life is not normal right now but I am trying to enjoy every moment to its fullest (because it is back to the real world soon haha). We made the most of yesterday by making a trip to Lake Mattamuskeet…I have always wanted to go because I have heard the tales of the monster blue crabs you can catch there. The truth is we only caught 3 monsters crabs (and some regular sized ones) but we had a blast. We picked up some more jimmy’s (lingo for crabs) on the way home and cooked them for dinner. Ain’t nothin’ better then cookin’ and eatin’ in the front yard with your brother and fiancee 😉 #redneckcity
