This weekend was the annual OBX Wedding Expo so my mom, future mother-in-law and I woke up early Saturday morning and headed to the local High School. I was feeling very bridal in pastels… I wore a mint sweater from a local boutique (similar here), white toothpick jeans, Kate Spade flats and my mom’s Stella and Dot necklace.
Upon entering, they gave me a bag full of goodies/info and this nice lanyard to let everyone know that I was the Bride! Haha my mom says I shouldn’t make this face anymore….
The event was so much more than I even imagined! They decked out the ceilings and there was food by caterers EVERYWHERE! The shrimp and grits and bruschetta from Basnights were my favs! And as it turns out, that is where the rehearsal dinner will be!
And these guys were so hilarious, I couldn’t NOT take a picture on their pig!
These invitations were another thing at the expo that caught my eye… I am loving the map!
And of COURSE my wedding designer, Renee Landry had an unforgettable booth with her adorable gold animal drink stirs! And she made sure to have a bear one for me 😉
All in all it was an amazing event and soooo well put together! I got a little overwhelmed but we got a photo booth for the big day, so it was a win!
