Day 2 in New York, we fulfilled one of my bucket list items: eat a RAINBOW BAGEL!
I know, crazy right? I am a bagel fiend so when I saw this one on instagram, I had to try it! So Nicole and I woke up last Tuesday, hopped on the subway and headed to the Williamsburg neighborhood.
The Williamsburg area of NYC is super trendy so we window shopped a bit till we found The Bagel Store. It honestly was nothing fancy looking but apparently the line wraps around the building sometimes! We hit it at just the right time though and ordered a rainbow bagel with cookie dough cream cheese and it was delish!
After carb loading we hopped back on the subway to explore central park. I know, so touristy of me but I had only been to NYC in the winter on my previous trips so it was a whole new expereince!
Then we wrapped up our day with another rooftop bar and pricy beverage. Mine had a flamingo straw and was well worth it with the 50 story view.
The next day we set out on an equally colorful adventure and hit up the all pink restaurant, Pietro Nolita. There we had pasta and it was just the right amount of carbs to prepare us for the 6 miles of walking we did that day.
I wore this white flowy dress all day and carried this awesome colorful tasseled bag.
As you can tell, it was rather sunny that day but I couldn’t pass up a pic in front of this awesome rainbow hearts wall!
That day we did more window shopping plus some actual shopping at Lush and Zara. Oh how I wish we had a Zara here in Virginia Beach because y’all they have alllll the palm print and gingham right now!
