Although, I am constantly looking at weddings as a blogger for VA Bride Magazine (most recent post here), the real wedding season is upon us and with that comes questions on what the heck to wear. As much as we wish April was full of 70 degree days, it is mostly full of temps in the 50s.
The hubs and I are headed to a wedding in Alexandria this weekend so I thought it would be fitting to share some wedding guest outfit ideas with y’all. Here, I am wearing a long sleeve shift dress. I dressed it up with pumps and a bright bag. The look still feels springy because of allllll the colors. As you can probably tell by my goose bumps in the pics below (lol) I was still pretty cold, but at least my arms were covered!
Lulu’s always has great options and I especially love this floral one! Another idea would be to go for a long dress, which is especially appropriate for a wedding after 5pm. This basic maxi has a gorgeous silhouette and would be so chic, while this one is fun and whimsical. Oh, and I love anything with a high neckline lately so this one I would totally rock. What can I say, I’m a 90s baby (said in Maren Morris’ singing voice #lovethatsong).
