Y’all. I have been working on today’s blog post ALL DAY but it was well worth it. I am excited to announce a new series I am going to call, “Make it Monday!” I love DIY projects and can’t wait to share all the ones I have in mind! From jewelry to food to cocktails, this is going to be fun!
Project #1 is a hand knit infinity scarf! I discovered this DIY beauty because a girl in my weekly Bible was rocking one that she had made last week and I was in complete awe. It was so luscious and cozy. It looked like something from Anthropologie! So, I picked up this adorable yarn and sat down to give it a try this morning.
I will spare you my own DIY version and give you the youtube link that I used here. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy. The only reason it took me all day was because I originally only purchased one thing of yarn…dun dun dun. Since I made mine 14 loops wide (you’ll understand what I mean when you watch), I ended up using three things of yarn. It probably would have worked with 10 loops and two yarn balls but either way, the outcome was astonishing!
I always wanted to crochet or knit but found myself giving up because it was too hard or took too long. This scarf is easy and takes hardly any time! Now I want to make a million! Ha…my scarf collection just got more out of control. Hi, I’m Tilley and I am a scarfaholic. #truth
