Before I took on the entrepreneur-PJ-wearing lifestyle, I worked in radio for two years. While there, I loved the everyday opportunity I had to dress up! As I got ready to meet a “less casual” potential client last week, it brought back memories of my office days.

My business ready wardrobe consists of items that can be worn in so many different ways, black pants, pumps, a simple white top, and a blazer.

Back in the day, black pants were always on rotation for me. Sometimes I would rock them with an outfit like this, and other days, I would tuck them into my rain boots and hit the road. In sales, you never know where you are going to end up in a day.

My go to shoes were a pair of black satin kitten heels and they were ?! Satin is so comfortable and breathable and the 1 inch made them easy to walk in all day.

Now this ruffled blazer is something I WISH I had had back then!

It is feminine but professional and I have never received so many compliments on one item in one day!

It also looks great with a tank and jeans for a more casual look.
