While in Utah for our anniversary, we wanted to see as much as possible. We adventured a ton in Moab but we also took a trip out to Antelope Island to see the sights and put our feet in the Great Salt Lake.
Antelope Island turned out to have a lot more buffalo than Antelope but they were so giant and majestic that we didn’t mind one bit.
They were seriously everywhere and sadly not very active animals, lol. I grew bored of watching them eat pretty quickly…I wanted to experience them running full speed!
Ryan on the other hand was constantly fascinated by them as they grazed along the banks of the Great Salt Lake.
For our adventure I wore, this Old Navy dress in a size small. I loved how flowy it was and the fact that it had long sleeves because that day was in the high 60’s.
These booties were also my go-to for the entire trip (and I am sure will be this fall too). I even wore them horseback riding! They are comfortable and go with everything.
Taking a dip in the Great Salt Lake was cool but wasn’t what I thought it would be. The lake def smelled like poots (because of the sulfur) and the treck to get there was a long and windy one. Glad to mark it off my travel list though 😉
That night we dined on halibut at the Market Street Grill, had a beer at Squatters Pub, and stayed in the Little America (which, ps, is the nicest place I have ever stayed for under $100 a night #notsponsored). It was the perfect wrap up to our trip before we flew out of Salt Lake the next day.
