Gift Guides

With black Friday and cyber Monday quickly approaching, in lieu of my usual Wedding Wednesday posts, today I am supplying you with a few gift guides!
Originally, I wasn’t going to do a gift guide but then my mom asked me the inevitable question, “What do you want for Christmas.” I told her, “Nothing, I got married this year!” I know that is silly but I honestly feel like there’s nothing more could I want! That answer didn’t suffice so I figured I would share a few of the things I sent her in case you are in the same boat of not knowing what to tell relatives…
1) Cool Tumbler – I am constantly thirsty and use my husbands tumblers all the time so I figured one of my own would be a good gift. Of course I will be removing the straw as I am very wrinkle conscious lately…
2) Monogramed Necklace – I always loved monograms but never wanted one because I’d hoped for my name to eventually change…welp, now I guess I can stock up. Lol.
3) Mackbook Pro Cover – Gotta protect my computer so I would rather do it in style.
4) Marble Cuff – Marble/howlite is my newest obsession and I love that this cuff can go with anything!
5) Prayer Journal – My brain is constantly moving so stopping to pray has even been hard lately…I think writing my prayers down in the chic journal will help.
6) Pineapple Pillow – H&M now has a home section…you’re welcome and I am sorry.
Other items that I already have and swear by that would make great gifts are: Hunter Rain Boots, Sally Hansen Gel Kit, Rocksbox (use code “tilleysthreadsxoxo” for your first month free), and adult coloring books

Now for gift ideas for the men in our lives…gosh, they can be tough.
Here are some items that I am either getting for guys in my family OR have already gotten…
1) Custom Jersey – My dad has one and loves it! He practically wears it every Sunday.
2) Watch – This is what I got Ryan for a wedding gift. It is classy yet professional (and I love to steal it hehe).
3) Cufflinks – Even if the guy your shopping for wears button downs that don’t require cufflinks they are still a sweet thought for a special occasion and I guarantee if he’s got some, he’ll wear more shirts that require them.
4) The Fry DaddyLolz, right? Well, the Fry Daddy is pretty much the only way my brother knows how to cook anything and surprisingly, its not half bad!
5) Classic Football Game – My mom got these for all the men in our family last year and you would have thought she gave them $1,000 each because they were so excited. Its a game from her generation but even the younger guys enjoy playing it too!
6) Slippers – He may not think he wants them but once he’s got a pair, he’ll wonder how he lived without them!

I hope y’all have an awesome Thanksgiving! I will be taking the rest of the week off from blogging to spend time with my fam but I’ll see y’all back here Monday morning for the beginning of my holiday looks!
