The weather this weekend was so beautiful in the Outer Banks! We made the 5 hour trip there to take our engagement pictures so I was very thankful for the warmth. First we went to the Elizabethan Gardens for our “fancy” pictures as I call them. I wore the funnest shoes (see below). Everything in the gardens looked like it hadn’t been touched by the coldness of winter…it was almost fairy tale like. I am not going to lie…we were not that comfortable in front of the camera haha but Alicia (our photographer) definitely helped us feel more confident! I am sure she caught us looking real goofy occasionally too.
Then we had an outfit change and hit the beach. We choose Nags Head Pier because it holds so many memories for us. It got a little colder there with the wind and the sun going down but it was still a lot of fun…Until we put our feet in the water…then we were DONE! It was 32 degrees! OUCH! More good memories though 😉 I can’t wait to see all the pictures!
