Here are my favorite things from October!

1). the Skimm
This daily news email has become part of my weekday ritual. I love to keep up to date with important news headlines and the Skimm makes it fun and interesting. If you do anything this month, sign up for the Skimm. You will thank me if you haven’t signed up already. And did I mention, it’s FREE!

2) Rodan and Fields Microderm Paste
This stuff is AMAZING! It makes my face feel sooooo smooth and I do think it is helping with my pore size (something that drives me crazy). It is a little pricy but this container is going to last a long time… email my consultant, Sarah at svanderpool.myrandf@gmail.com, to give it a try yourself!
3) Fire
As the weather gets colder, there is something about a fire that just gives me the warm fuzzies. Whether it’s indoors to warm up a room or outdoors for s’mores, I am in!
4) A Real French
I am in love with my at home shellac kit by Sally Hansen! It is just like going to a salon but SO much faster! I get antsy when I sit still for so long so this kit is perfect for me! And it saves you a lot of money in making trips to the nail salon…
5) The Last Bushel
Growing up by the beach, blue crabs quickly became my meal of choice. They are tough work but worth every ounce of meat that comes out of them. You can’t get them year round so this will probably be our last bushel of the year…get in my belly!
6) Snuggie
There is no cute way to photographic a snuggie (just search #snuggie on instagram, its hilarious) BUT whoever thought of it years ago was very smart and I still feel fashionable in it because mine is cheetah.
7) Dry Shampoo
Let be honest, no one wants to wash their hair everyday. My hairstylist is also my best friend so when she made this fancy suggestion I took it. Love this Oribe Dry Shampoo. I even use it when my hair is clean to give my hair texture to hold my curls better. AND best of all it doesn’t make my newly dark hair look gray like regular dry shampoo!
8) All Pumpkin Everything
Trader Joe’s is the Mecca of pumpkin right now so naturally I had to try everything. The oatmeal is the bomb and the yogurt tastes like pumpkin cheesecake. The pumpkin butter (not pictured) also does something magical to a piece of toast. Thank you Trader Joe’s.
9) Witty Glassware
This Crate and Barrel plate had me at, “Hello.”
10) Second Hand Books
Books can be ridiculously expensive so as soon as I came across a book store that had 2nd hand fashion books I got so excited! It’s worth looking into where you live…
That is all for October! Do you have a favorite you’ve discovered this month? Share with me!
