Our Sweet P recently turned 1 year old and we threw her a Carnival Themed Party!
Here are a few photos AND a list of a few of her favorite things from the last few months!
Parker’s 9 to 12 month old baby favorites:
- Infant Optics Monitor – I can’t believe I didn’t mention this in my last lists of favorites (newborn and 5-8 months) but we LOVE this monitor. It allows me to layout in the back yard without having service issues AND you can move the camera which is very helpful to spot a wiggly baby.
- Baby Utensils – I couldn’t believe how quickly and easily P used these! They are easy to grab and although I have to load them with food for her, she is moving in the right direction!
- Outdoor Swing – If you have a baby, THIS is the best $35 you will ever spend. It is without a doubt her favorite activity!
- Walker – If you are asking yourself if my house has turned into a Mcdonald’s play place, the answer is YES. This walker has been one of her most-used toys since the day we got it though and has helped her start walking with ease!
- Food Truck – This was one of her birthday gifts that we’ve played with every day since. I don’t know who likes it more…P or me?!
- Car Mirror – I have tried a LOT of these and this one stands high above the rest because it is easy to move around and much clearer than competitors. We also love this iPad holder for longer drives.
- Touch and Feel Books – We have so many that I couldn’t find links to but Llama Llama has been a great one!
- T-Shirts – When we’re just hanging out around the house, I really don’t want to bother with snaps so t-shirts it is! This one is organic and sustainably produced. Not to mention, adorable.

My granddaughter will be a year behind Miss P. Thanks for posting great tips. Good to remember the infant phase doesn’t last too long. I see a swing in Mackenzie’s future!
