This weekend Ryan and I were invited to Thai Arroy for their new Jazz night that they’re hosting every Saturday in December!

We actually used to live right around the corner from Thai Arroy and got it as take out all the time so we jumped at the chance to come back for a date night and per usual, it did not disappoint!

We started with drinks (Ryan got a Thai beer and I got a Coco-sa…champagne and coconut water) and their Trio appetizer! The Crab Rangoon was my favorite!

Then it was time to choose entrees! I am pretty stuck in my ways and usually get Masaman Curry, which is delicious, but the owner kindly came over to our table to introduce himself and I immediately asked what his favorite dishes were.

He made a few suggestions and we were so thankful we listened 😉

While we waited for our food, we relaxed to jazz music. These gentlemen were quite talented!

As I mentioned, the owner’s recommendations didn’t disappoint!

Our Thai Arroy dinner order…

My brother in law got Green Curry, I tried Mussa-Pad Thai, and Ryan got Duck with Basil Sauce!

I got the Mussa-Pad Thai because he told me it was a creamier version of regular Pad Thai with coconut milk! One of the reason’s I love curry was for the coconut milk so this dish was right up my ally!

The best of all though was Ryan’s Duck with Basil Sauce! The duck had the crispiest and most delicious skin and don’t even get me started on the sauce it came in! It a little sweet and was like nothing I had ever had before.

I was stealing from his plate all night 😂my mouth is watering just looking it!

We will certainly be back to try more of what the owner suggested! I am so glad we branched out…perfect in case we end up going to Thailand in February 😉🙏!
