Slacks were synonymous with boring in my book when it came to fashion but while working in radio for two years before starting my own business, they became my friend.
A girl can really only wear dresses and skirts so often in the workplace. Plus I hate for my ankles to be uncovered and cold in the winter lol.

This weekend I am spending time in NYC with my mom, my BFF, and her mom. We are going to see shows, shop, and eat a bunch because we’ll be walking a bunch and the eating makes it worth it 😉 .

Ahh I recently got a pair of very similar looking slacks (tie waist in a similar shade of olive) and I’ve been trying to figure out how to style them. This is a great inspiration and I’ll definitely be pinning this for future reference! :]
