I am not gonna lie. I was not prepared for this warm weather and as someone who blogs about fashion, that is not acceptable. With no time to spare, I headed to Town Center of Virginia Beach because (I don’t care how much you or I love to shop online) nothing beats being able to try things on in store!
I grew up just 20 mins away from Town Center and I am always impressed with how they have grown over the years. It is truly a fashion park now!
So, in my tizzy to get spring ready, I hit Anthropologie, Monkee’s, and Bevello and wait till you see what I picked out…
Anthropologie was my first stop of the day.
I can’t tell y’all how much I adore this store. To begin, the ambiance in there is like no other and of course the girls are always so helpful.
To tell you the truth, I used to be intimidated by Anthropologie. Isn’t that silly? I regret the time I wasted in that state of mind because their clothes are unique, fun, and great quality.
The dress I chose from there is beyond perfect for spring and as soon as I saw it on the rack, I knew it was even worthy of Gal Meets Glam (one of my favorite bloggers).
The wrap dress is a classic, extremely flattering, silhouette. What really drew me to it though was the mix of similar stripped patterns. This “Banker Stripe” or “Updated Oxfords” look was huge on the 2017 spring runway and I can’t think of a more practical or pretty way to rock the trend.
Ahhh and its on SALE! Call them and ask them for the Tilley dress 😉 (757) 687-3205.
P.S. How gorgeous are these doors?!
Next up was Monkee’s!
Little history for ya, when we moved back to VA, I actually worked at Monkee’s of Virginia Beach when it first opened last February. The moment I walked in, I was in love.
Y’all. This store is the answer to Virginia Beach fashionista’s prayers! The designers they carry will blow your MIND and don’t even get me started on their shoe selection (like those tasseled Rebecca Minkoff babies I’m holding above, swoon).
I had a two piece set on the mind when I walked in and they picked me out this stunning Anna Cate set! I love how the top is solid but the shorts are floral. They go together perfect but could easily be separated and worn as different outfits. You can’t beat 3 outfits in one people.
Kendra Scott accessories (which go with everything) and this nude Gigi New York clutch completed my look!
Then the last (but most certainly not least) stop on the hunt for my spring must haves in Town Center: Bevello!
I had actually gone to their Spring fashion show the night before so as soon as I walked in I was on the prowl for this Show Me Your Mumu romper. This is a brand I am obsessed with right now and the fact that it is in my own back yard makes my life!
The sweater by Oxford Sunday (exclusive to Bevello) and earrings are also perfection. Pompoms and tassels are so in right now and I can’t get enough.
Another trend you need to keep in mind for spring is the lace up shoe like these Sam Edelman ones Bevello helped me discover. According to the 2017 Spring runway, if your shoes don’t have ties on them then go home. Lols, I’ll take any excuse to add these pretties to my wardrobe!
And just like that, with the help of the most fashionable places in Virginia Beach, I am ready for spring!
Now the big question…are you?!
Lol, don’t stress! Just pop over to Town Center of Virginia Beach‘s Anthopologie, Monkee’s, and Bevello and you’ll be good to go!
What trends do you have your eye on for Spring?
