It is no secret that every fashion blogger loves a good, vibrant, unique wall to pose in front of. The colorful walls in Norfolk, Virginia are no backgrounds though, they are full blown pieces of art in themselves!
I ventured down to the Neon District of Norfolk with my BFF when she was in town for a wall crawl and boy was I blow away. What’s a wall crawl? Where you take pics in front of cool walls #duh.
Just put Bob’s Gun Shop in your GPS and you will end up at this EPIC wall behind me in the photo above.
Around the corner you’ll find a sea of fishes swimming along. This mural is by Onie Tonie. He’s done a lot of sweet work in Virginia Beach too!
Although this is more of a fence than I wall, it was too hard to resist.
Leave it to my best friend to capture me being so “natural.”
This one made me feel very artsy. “Take a pic of my profile like theirs.” Lolz.
I can’t even express to you how close all of this is together too. I didn’t even work up an appetite walking (and I am always hungry).
The texture on this one was pretty cool…
…It makes my sweater look like camouflage!
These bees riding unicycles were definitely my favorite. At first a little creepy…
…but they grew on me. Do you like my impression of being a bee on a unicycle? Dead on.
Wall crawls are one of my new favorite things now! I am headed to Nashville this weekend for the Influence Network Conference and I don’t know if we’ll have time but I would LOVE to do another wall crawl because I hear they have some great walls there!
Do you know of cities with cool walls? Comment below, I am trying to make this a new bucket list item…”stand awkwardly in front of 100 cool walls.”
