Make it Monday: Brighten and Tighten Day

If you are currently loling at the name of this post, behold something funnier…

Brighten and tighten

Or maybe I should say scarier! Contrary to what you may be thinking, we are not about to audition for the next Purge movie. We are wearing these masks to brighten and tighten our faces!

Brighten and tighten

Over the holidays, I picked up these masks at my local Whole Foods because Vitamin C has become my life. If you saw my insta story a couple of weeks ago then you saw that I had also purchased a Vitamin C serum to apply to my face daily and let me tell you, I LOVE IT. I immediately feel tightness in my face and I am beginning to see it brighten as well.

But back to the masks. I was hanging out with some friends that I have known since high school and thought this would be the perfect time for a mini spa day! We tore open the packages and plopped them on our faces.

I love that there is literally no mess with these things. Just open and place on your face for 15 minutes.

I failed to take an after photo but we all unanimously agreed that we would do the mask again.

I want y’all to know this post is not sponsored at all. Protecting my face has become a top priority for me and Vitamin C is a great option for someone my age (mid 20s to 30s). It has been known to stop premature aging and wrinkling and fades dark spots! Also, it can make your sunscreen more effective and boost your skins defense against UV exposure. Boom, bet I just rocked your world.

Both this mask and a regular Vitamin C serum should be applied after washing/cleansing your face. Follow with any other serums you like, then moisturize.

Stay tight and bright my friends 😉

Ooh I love vitamin C! Even though I’m only 20 I try to incorporate it into my skincare routine so that my skin stays nice in the future! I’m for sure going to look for these masks the next time that I venture to Whole Foods.

This sounds like the kind of face mask that would right up my alley. I love the idea of using vitamin c to brighten and tighten my face.
