Ahhh Christmas time…the time of year we all get to be super basic and drink gingerbread lattes and wish that it would snow. I enjoy all that as much as the next girl but this year for my Christmas party, I wanted to mix things up a bit…
Do you know how to say “Merry Christmas” in Hawaiian? “Mele Kalikimaka” of course! Yes, I threw a Hawaiian Christmas party because my kind of white Christmas is on a white sand beach!
The table for my party was anchored with a beautiful Christmas cactus and framed with palm leaves. For food, I served chips and salsa, peanuts, mini cakes, cookies and fresh pineapple Hawaiian chicken bites.
Although all the treats were delish, I also wanted to make a fun beverage to go with the Hawaiian theme for my guests.
I decided on non alcoholic pineapple daiquiris with a special ingredient…
I have always been a fan of Emergen-C. I love how it makes me feel fortified and how it gives me a little boost of natural* energy without caffeine! The Super Orange flavor also pairs perfectly with pineapple đ
I recently picked up a 30 pack at Walmart, not only for this recipe, but also because I feel better taking my Emergen-C during the winter months because my health is oh so important to me.
But let me tell you, whether or not you are throwing a party, these daiquiris are a MUST TRY!
How to make a virgin Emergen-C daiquiri:
Begin with fresh pineapple (I picked mine up at Walmart). Make sure to skin and core it before chopping. Next, throw it in a bag to freeze overnight.
The next day when you are ready to serve your daiquiris, add two cups of frozen pineapple to a blender, one cup water, and two packs of super orange Emergen-C. Blend until smooth. This will make two virgin daiquiris!
Just FYI, depending on how strong you blender is, you may need to add more water.
Then, pour the mixture into a fun glass, add a straw and you’ve got a refreshing beverage that your friends are sure to love!
Nothing better than dreaming of the tropics and keeping up a healthy lifestyle!
Mele Kalikimaka y’all!

This idea sounds AMAZING! How creative, too. I would have never thought about this!
This recipe is so interesting!!! I would have never thought about making a daiquiri with Emergen-C. I am always taking Emergen-C during the winter times. It helps keep me from being sick.
I take Emergen-C everyday during fall/winter in attempt to avoid the inevitable sickness that goes around! Such a fun use for it!
