The gorgeous ambiance in these pics taken earlier in the week is a pretty sharp contrast to the weather we are going to be seeing this weekend though. Thankfully hurricane Matthew steered away from Virginia Beach but not before giving a spooky forecast that shattered our weekend plans. Oh you know the black tie event I mentioned last week at the AQUARIUM?! Cancelled. Womp womp.
Looks like I’ll be cozied up indoors all weekend in this exact buffalo print flannel (with leggings as pants though). I have it tucked into my jeans for these pics but it is long enough to cover your bum. Not to mention it has pockets! #win
It is also under $20. I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand a pricy flannel. Pretty sure this one will be on rotation under my red vest (similar here) or with turquoise earrings for Panthers games for years to come. – PS, see my tips for shopping Sheinside here –
Speaking of being cozied up on the couch all weekend, I just picked up Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Target (along with curtains, a notebook and a coffee table on clearance when I went in strictly for s’mores supplies). The words are embarrassingly large so it is right up my alley. If hurricane weather means I have to stay in, you better believe I plan on vegging out my friend.
