Make it with Nuts!

If you can braid, then you can do today’s DIY project! It is so easy and all you need is some nuts from the hardware store and string.
I am not sure why they make gold nuts, but I am very thankful, lol! I use the smallest ones the have and any string I find around the house. I prefer white hemp string but embroidery thread works too.
Begin by cutting 6 strings, 1 yard each (if using hemp, do 3 strings at 1 yard each). Then loop the string in half and tie a knot.
Not pictured (to spare y’all): put said loop around your big toe and start braiding using 2 strings each for a section of the braid. Braid about two inches. You can also use a clip board I guess.
Then add a nut to the left string and cross over (like you would a typical braid). Add a nut to the right string and cross over. Repeat until you have used all your nuts. The hardest part will be holding the nuts in place as you add more, but don’t stress. You got this!
After you have added all the nuts, braid two more inches and tie off. Say hello to your new fav accessory!
WHEW, I never thought I would say nuts so many times in a post! Haha. I also never dreamed that I would acquire the skills to photograph things with my camera on manual. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am taking a photography class and shooting in manual! Why you may ask? Because I am trying to learn alllll the skillzzzz…
