60 degree weekends? You know that means I am breaking out the winter white. The weather here has been ridiculous but after a few days in the 20s/30, I was oh so thankful for a weekend of warmer temps. I wore this outfit house hunting this weekend with the hubs (omggg #grownup)! Like I said in my insta, we are far from purchasing but we are starting the process and it is so exciting! This white dress paired with cold weather accessories was perfect for the trip. I felt classy, yet stylish. 

Speaking of instagram…you may have seen my post from yesterday saying that I am “fasting” the social network this week (ie not logging in to my account, ekkk). I, probably like most ladies my age, am addicted to instagram. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think instagram is bad in anyway. In my opinion, it is a constant feed of art to feast my eyes and creativity on…BUT I think I am giving it too much power over me. I always want to post to inspire and I find myself thinking about what to post wayyyy too often. I hope that by fasting this week, I will have a clearer vision of how to use my skills to inspire while not letting the platform control my thoughts. 

It won’t be easy so I will be praying through it! Luckily, I am also in DC today visiting my sorority big sister and then I am headed to NYC to visit my long time BFF later in the week. Follow along here and on snapchat (tilleysthreads) for my crazy adventures!
