Unique Stationary

Wedding planning is super fun but it is
no easy task when you want to put a special touch on every detail. From the moment Ryan and I got engaged I tried to think
outside of the box while planning. Of course I cannot claim anything I
do as an idea of my own BUT they are all inspired by something I have seen and tried to put my own twist on it.
Designing our wedding stationary has been no different. Below is a picture I posted of our save the dates (mimosa obvi nessary). I have gotten so many save the dates recently with pictures on them of the couple (often involving a dog haha) and they are adorable…bbbut I wanted something different. I got this idea from Style Me Pretty Weddings which my photographer sent me. She was also the one that connected me with Jen of The Littlest Paperie who helped me make my vision come true.

{Planning tip: talk to your current vendors about who they suggest for things you are looking for! They have a lot of great insight and have most likely seen a TON of weddings!}

I was so pleased how the save the dates turned out but I knew the invitations would be a true test to whether my ideas could be put on paper…I wanted a map of the Outer Banks with details that we, as a couple, care about. Jen, from The Littlest Paperie blew me away…again!
I don’t want to give away the whole surprise because they don’t go out for a few months but here is a small part of it…
See Lost Treasure Golf? That is the put put course where we had our first date 🙂
Whats next on my to do list? Figuring out what the men will wear and something clever to put on the koozies because I refuse to have a boring koozie #bridezilla
